Statement of Belief
We Believe...
1. The Bible (66 books-Old and New Testaments) is the inspired, inerrant Word of God. (II Tim. 3:15-17)
2. There is only one true God, creator of all things. (Gen. 1:1-2:25)
3. God exists eternally as three persons, the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, and that these three are the same in nature, yet different in position and ministry. (Matt. 28:19)
4. Jesus Christ was born of a virgin. (Matt. 1:18)
5. Jesus Christ is the Word become flesh (Diety) (John 1:1,14)
6. Jesus Christ lived a sinless life, died on a cross, bearing the sin of mankind as a substitutionary sacrifice for all men. (Heb. 4:15; II Cor. 5:21)
7. Mankind was created in the image of God, but through sin became seperate from God. (Gen. 1:26, 9:6)
8. Jesus Christ is the only provision for reconciliation to God, and because of God's grace, not works, man is justified by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ, resulting in repentance and a change of action. (John 3:16; Acts 4:12; Rom. 5:1; II Pet. 1:3-11)
9. Jesus Christ rose bodily from the dead. (Matt. 28:6-7; Acts 1:3)
10. Jesus Christ ascended to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19), where he intercedes as our Great High Priest. (Heb. 4:14)
11. The Holy Spirit is divine and fully God, and that He has been sent to convict the world of sin, and to empower believers for service, and that He distributes gifts according to His will. (Acts 2:4; I Cor. 12:4-11)
12. The Second Coming of Jesus Christ, and that He will personally and visibly return from Heaven.
13. Our goal is to allow God to use us, through music and testimony, to help people come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
